Tapes for the Blind produces a monthly magazine on tape, called Baptist Voice.
This includes items from the Baptist Times, Engage magazine from BMS World Mission and other Baptist publications. It brings a variety of news and views from the Baptist family and the wider Christian world. The tape is available free of charge to friends who are blind or have impaired vision.
Baptist Voice is produced by a team based at Abingdon Baptist church. A varied selection of items are edited and arranged to produce the script for a 90 minute tape. On the recording day a team of four readers bring a variety of voices to the tapes. The master tape is copied the following day and posted to friends all round the country.
